The main focus of the exhibition Anticultural Positions is the new eponymously titled 16mm-film (2009-10) and a series of sculptures in the lobby of the Schinkel Pavillon. The film reworks a version of a lecture given by the artist, in which he describes his process. The film largely explores abstract images of surfaces constructed with diverse materials or flattened rooms. Meanwhile, subtitles present various artistic ideas and outdated descriptions of artistic materials.
