Lili Reynaud-Dewar
Ettore Sottsass
2. May – 18. May 2008

The exhibition curated by Lili Reynaud-Dewar presents design objects and texts by the architect and designer Ettore Sottsass. Against the minimalism and elegance of modern design, Sottsass often tested the limits of “good taste.” Humorous items at the limit of aesthetic acceptability were the result. Taking Sottsass’s texts as a manifestation of his concepts of design, Reynaud-Dewar invites two performers to bring the setting to life during the exhibition opening by playing music and reading aloud fragments of the texts.
